GOOD NEWS! IMAB, in collaboration with Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative (AAIC), has been awarded a $796 Solidarity Grant from National Indivisible to support monthly sandwich making for the unhoused in the Greater Attleboro Area. AAIC is the parent organization for Food n’ Friends, which operates the local soup kitchens. Funding supports the purchase of supplies to make sandwiches through the end of the calendar year. The average number of sandwiches given out on a weekly basis is between 80 and 100. IMAB‘s monthly sandwich making helps to fill a need, as AAIC needs community groups to commit to once a month sandwiches.
